Tragic NY Crash Claims Lives of 5 Young Relatives and Connecticut Children.
An unlicensed 16-year-old driver, who was either distracted or fell asleep, crashed an SUV on the Hutchinson River Parkway in New York, killing himself and four underage relatives. There was no supervising adult in the vehicle, and only a 9-year-old boy survived. The driver had neither a driver’s license nor a learner’s permit in Connecticut or New York. The victims were from Connecticut and had just moved to a new community.
