Unlicensed driver in NJ parking lot kills 9-month-old in stroller crash
A vehicle driven by an unlicensed woman struck a mother pushing a stroller with two children in the NPGS grocery store parking lot in Jackson Township, NJ, killing a 9-month-old. Maria CobonGuzman, 20, faces manslaughter and license-violation charges; Ariadna Lazaro-Flores, 22, is charged with creating a substantial risk of death. The mother and 5-year-old were hospitalized in stable condition; the baby died. Police say Lazaro-Flores knew CobonGuzman had no valid license and let her operate the vehicle. Both women were taken into custody and the investigation continues.
