US activist and comedian Tou Ger Xiong was found dead with multiple stab wounds in Colombia after allegedly being kidnapped and held for ransom. Xiong had met up with a woman he connected with on social media when he was abducted by a group of men. He called a friend to report the ransom demand before his body was discovered in a ravine. Police are investigating whether Xiong was killed because he attempted to escape captivity.
