Amer Sports, the parent company of various outdoor and sports brands including ENVE Composites and Wilson Sporting Goods, has officially filed for an initial public offering (IPO) in the United States. The company, which could be valued at up to $10 billion, has not disclosed the number of shares or the price range for the IPO but intends to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "AS". This move comes after a series of brand acquisitions and sales, including the purchase of ENVE in 2016 and the sale of Mavic, Precor, and Suunto. The company was taken private in 2019 by an Anta-led group for $5.2 billion.
