Honoring Nashville Police for Stopping School Shooter
The Uvalde Foundation for Kids, formed in response to the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, will award medals of honor to Metro Nashville Police officers Rex Englebert and Michael Collazo for their bravery in stopping a school shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville. The foundation's founder, Daniel Chapin, praised the officers for their "textbook, yet heroic action" and said they did what officers failed to do in previous school shootings.
