Reality star Kash fatally shot by sister during Oakland brawl
Mackayla 'Kash' Paige, a 29-year-old reality television personality, was killed in a downtown Oakland shooting early Sunday morning. Her half-sister, Vernika Dunbar, 38, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. Police say Dunbar accidentally fired a fatal shot while attempting to pistol-whip a woman who was fighting with Paige. The incident occurred near 14th and Harrison streets, and Dunbar remains in custody.
