Delta Air Lines Reduces Maui Flights Amidst Low Demand and Wildfires
Delta Air Lines has decided to reduce its key Maui routes due to lack of demand, temporarily suspending flights from Minneapolis and Atlanta to Maui. The visitor count in Maui is currently running at about half of normal, with only around 3,000 visitors per day compared to last year's 8,000. Delta continues to offer nonstop flights to Maui from Los Angeles and Seattle, and has introduced discounted fares in an effort to attract more visitors to the island.
