Tech Giants Gather at White House to Address AI Risks and Pledge Safety Measures
Tech executives from Adobe, Cohere, IBM, Nvidia, Palantir, Salesforce, Scale AI, and Stability are meeting with top Biden administration officials to announce their voluntary commitments to reduce risks posed by artificial intelligence (AI). These commitments include security testing, risk sharing, public reporting, and disclosure of AI-generated content. The White House has been working on an executive order and formal policies for AI development and usage within federal agencies, while Congress is also examining AI risks.
