Commanders promote Julian Good-Jones to active roster for Week 1 vs Eagles
Washington Commanders elevate center/guard Julian Good-Jones from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, after Nick Allegretti’s calf injury left him the starter with Matt Gulbin backing him. Washington released veteran tackle D.J. Humphries earlier in the week, and the rest of the injury report cleared for Week 1.
