
Harlem man faces murder charges in Washington Heights strangulation case
Tiliek Thompson, 41, was arraigned on charges including second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and first-degree strangulation for the death of 27-year-old Lovay Williams inside her Washington Heights apartment; Williams’ body was found during a wellness check, Thompson turned himself in, was remanded with a Sept. 18 court date, and the 7-year-old child was inside the apartment at the time.
