Rampant Gun Violence Claims Lives in Washington, DC
A man charged with first-degree murder in a fatal shooting in Northwest DC had been released from jail just two days earlier after charges from an October weapons arrest were dropped. Franklin Dorn, 43, allegedly shot and killed 28-year-old Antonio Brown on August 6. Dorn had been in jail since his October arrest for carrying a pistol without a license and unlawful possession of a weapon.
