Train Derailment Prompts Evacuations in Montgomery County, PA
A train derailment occurred in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, causing the evacuation of a dozen homes and nearby businesses as a precaution. The train, owned by CSX, derailed due to weather-related issues, with about 16 of its 40 cars affected. Although one car was carrying hazardous material, there were no leaks or spills reported, and no injuries to the crew.
