An 8-year-old boy who went missing in the Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park was found safe by a volunteer search party after two days. The search party included a senior from Hurley School District, who was a familiar face to the boy. The group executed a plan to find the boy and felt relief and joy when they found him 320 yards from the previous coordinates.
