Fireworks Safety: Guidelines for a Safe and Happy Fourth of July
Utahns are reminded that personal fireworks are not legal anywhere until Sunday at 11 a.m., with the legal window to set off fireworks from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from July 2-5. However, there are areas where fireworks are completely banned due to wildfire hazards, as indicated on the Unified Fire Authority's interactive map. The Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands also provides an interactive map of statewide firework restrictions. Residents are advised to check with their jurisdiction for updated information on firework restrictions.
