Jacks' five-for powers England to 89-run win over Sri Lanka in Durham
England posted 265 thanks to Brook (67), Root (44) and Jacks (46*) and then bowled Sri Lanka out for 176, with Jacks taking a career-best 5-22 to seal an 89-run win in the first ODI at Chester-le-Street; it was a disciplined England display on a slow pitch as they chase a third consecutive ODI series win, with Rehan Ahmed’s early overs a learning curve and Rashid missing the series due to injury.
