Seattle Kraken Secure Defensive Future with Borgen and Bellemare Signings
The Seattle Kraken have signed defenseman William Borgen to a two-year contract extension with an average annual value of $2.7 million. Borgen, who was drafted by the Kraken in the expansion draft, had a solid season, showcasing his defensive skills and physicality. However, with the presence of Justin Schultz and Adam Larsson on the right side of the defensive unit, Borgen may have difficulty moving up in the lineup.
