TV Pool Coverage Returns to White House Amid Ongoing CNN Access Dispute
The White House TV pool resumed coverage on Friday after a federal judge temporarily restored CNN's access, ending a boycott by networks following Trump's ban on CNN, MS NOW, and Politico. However, the White House subsequently barred CNN from Air Force One, complicating future pool duties. The dispute disrupted coverage of Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit, frustrating Chinese officials who relied on international media for legitimacy, while the administration defended its actions as a response to a 'juvenile boycott.'
