Yin Family Donations to Newsom and Others Spark Foreign-Influence Questions
A Northern California family of McDonald’s franchise owners donated more than $4.4 million to Gov. Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, and other California politicians. FBI files link C.C. Analysts caution about influence ops, while the Yins and APAPA say donations and ties are legitimate and not evidence of wrongdoing.
