FFVII Revelation: Hamaguchi Teases a Grand Finale at TGS 2026
At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Final Fantasy VII Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi discusses scaling up from Remake and Rebirth while improving accessibility, reworking the Moogle mini-game, easing the platinum trophy, expanding Zack’s role to bridge Crisis Core to the main saga, and weaving in Compilation of Final Fantasy VII elements. Revelation is positioned as the trilogy’s ending for now, with Vincent and Sephiroth DLCs offering extra story content rather than replacing the main narrative, and no firm plans for further remakes beyond Revelation—though fan reception could influence future decisions.
