Supreme Court Case Spurs Texas Man to Give Up Guns
Zackey Rahimi, the man at the center of a major Supreme Court gun rights case, has written a letter from jail stating that he no longer wants to carry a gun and wants to stay away from firearms and weapons. However, gun rights advocates do not see him as a sympathetic figure for the Second Amendment. Rahimi, who faces multiple gun-related charges and is accused of participating in a string of shootings, could potentially expand gun rights protections by challenging a federal law that prohibits gun possession while under a domestic violence protective order.
