"Unveiling Ancient Carvings: Amazon's Record-Breaking Drought Reveals Hidden Treasures"

The record-low levels of the Amazon River caused by a severe drought in Brazil have uncovered ancient carvings estimated to be between 1,000 and 2,000 years old. The carvings, mostly depicting human faces, animals, and natural forms, provide insight into pre-colonial civilizations. The site is considered of high importance by archaeologists due to its diversity, including deep indentations used for weapon sharpening. The drought, attributed to the El Niño weather pattern and climate change, has also caused a state of emergency in Manaus, affecting over 600,000 people and impacting the surrounding rainforest's vegetation and wildlife.
