Navigating Indigenous Spirituality: The Dos and Don'ts

Patty Krawec, author of "Becoming Kin: An Indigenous Call to Unforgetting the Past and Reimagining Our Future," shares her personal journey of discovering her Ojibwe heritage and reconciling it with her Christian upbringing. She discusses the importance of belonging and the differences between Ojibwe and Christian worldviews, particularly in their relationship with the land. Krawec also addresses the issue of race shifting and calls for non-native people to acknowledge their privilege and work with Indigenous communities rather than appropriating their spiritual traditions.
