"Uncovering Truth: Forensic Analysis Reveals Hamas Abuses Amid Israeli Denial"

Al Jazeera's Investigative Unit conducted a forensic analysis of the events of October 7, revealing widespread human rights abuses by Hamas fighters and others, but also debunking many false claims made by Israeli politicians, including allegations of mass killings and systematic rape. The analysis found that certain stories used to justify the subsequent bombardment of the Gaza Strip were untrue, and identified incidents where Israeli forces may have killed Israeli citizens. While isolated rapes may have occurred, there was insufficient evidence to support claims of widespread and systematic sexual violence.
