Pensacola charter crew retrieves suspected military drone from Gulf of Mexico

A charter fishing group in Pensacola, Florida, pulled a large drone from the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday. The aircraft is suspected to be an MQM-172, a U.S. military unmanned aerial target used for training and weapons testing, though this identification has not been independently confirmed. The charter reported the discovery, and authorities retrieved the drone later that day.
