The Vatican's new document "Dignitas Infinita" reaffirms Church teaching on human dignity and addresses controversial issues such as gender theory, abortion, surrogacy, and euthanasia. The document's clear stance on rejecting attempts to obscure sexual differences and prohibiting sex-change interventions has been widely praised, with experts calling it a game changer. While some praised the document's opposition to surrogacy and its emphasis on speaking the truth about abortion, others felt it missed an opportunity to tie the issues of physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia directly to care for the equal dignity of the disabled.
