"Elon Musk Calls Out Stephen King for Deadnaming X on Twitter"

Stephen King refuses to call Twitter by its new name, X, chosen by Elon Musk, prompting Musk to accuse King of "deadnaming" the platform in a response that was seen as an anti-trans joke. The exchange comes after a report from the Tech Transparency Project found that X may be accepting payments from accounts associated with terrorist organizations for its premium service. Musk has not commented on the report, while King has previously expressed displeasure over the name change. The two have sparred on social media before, with Musk purging legacy verified accounts and introducing a subscription-based verification system.
