JJ Watt Delivers Solid Performance as CBS Lead Analyst in Romo’s Absence

JJ Watt has successfully stepped into the lead analyst role for CBS’s NFL broadcasts following Tony Romo’s indefinite leave. In his first regular-season game, Watt provided sharp defensive insights, notably predicting a blitz by Green Bay’s Jonathan Gannon against former Arizona coach Kyler Murray. While the broadcast lacked the chemistry of previous pairings, Watt’s preparation and analysis were praised as a viable long-term solution for the network.
