Collexion luxury vs XM6 value: premium build, modest gains at a steep price
SoundGuys pits Sony's premium 1000X The Collexion against the WH-1000XM6, finding only modest gains for the Collexion: a premium build (stainless steel hinges, faux leather), Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast, and spatial processing features, but significantly worse battery life (about 24 hours vs 37 hours), heavier weight, and a $200 higher price. The XM6 offers far better value with strong ANC, long battery life, portability, and broad feature parity. The Collexion is best for luxury/material enthusiasts who want exclusivity over a dramatic performance leap.
