Amazon Enters the AI Rat Race with New Cloud Service and Large Language Models

Amazon is launching two new AI language models, Titan Text and Text Embeddings, through its cloud platform, Amazon Web Services, to compete with Microsoft and Google in the generative AI race. The company is also launching a platform called Bedrock, which will provide access to cutting-edge language models from Anthropic and AI21, two startups developing language models that compete with those of OpenAI and Google.
