Laurie Transou, the Lead Program Engineer for the Ford Mustang, is in charge of the final adjustments and production roll-out of the new 2024 Mustang, which will be available with only gasoline engines. While Ford has an electric Mustang, the Mustang Mach-E SUV, Transou has a personal attachment to the gasoline-powered Mustang. The Mustang coupe is already an oddity in the American auto industry, as it's the only actual car Ford currently sells in the United States. The future for the Ford Mustang is simply that it's still here, it still rumbles, and there's more news to come.
