Ford recalls over 1 million Fusion and MKZ sedans.

Ford is recalling 1.28 million Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans due to concerns over collapsed fluid hoses that may slow the rate of deceleration when braking, increasing the risk of an accident. The recall covers vehicles made between 2013 and 2018, with about 2% affected by the braking issue. Ford is aware of one related accident but no injuries or deaths. Owners of the affected vehicles will be notified by mail from mid-to-late April and instructed to find a Ford or Lincoln dealer for repairs.
