Ford's Bold Move: Axing Gas Crossovers for Profitable EVs

Ford plans to discontinue the Edge, Escape, and Transit Connect models in the US by the end of 2023 to make room for its new fleet of electric vehicles (EVs). With the F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach E, and E Transit, Ford aims to regain its position as America's second-best-selling EV manufacturer. Meanwhile, the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat tops the list of the most stolen cars in America, followed by the Charger Hemi, Infiniti Q50, Dodge Challenger, and Land Rover Range Rover. Tesla is under investigation by the US Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission over its spending habits, specifically related to a project known as "Project 42." Lastly, Polestar, the Swedish EV maker, reported narrowed losses in the second quarter but revised its sales forecast for 2023 to 60,000-70,000 cars.
