Ford is recalling over 870,000 F-150 trucks in the US due to a wiring-related problem with their electric parking brakes. The issue could lead to unexpected activation of the brakes. The affected trucks belong to the 2021-2023 model years and feature single exhaust systems. There have been no known injuries or crashes related to this issue. Ford will address the problem by replacing the wiring harness or applying a protective tie strap and tape wrap at no cost to owners.
