Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest all-electric concept, the Vision One Eleven, which features augmented reality technology and YASA axial flux motors. The design is a nod to the experimental C 111 vehicles from the late 1960s and early 1970s. The Vision One Eleven is not expected to reach assembly lines, but is a creative study in design and a preview of some technologies that may be integrated into production EVs in the future. The YASA motors, which are considerably smaller, lighter and more powerful than traditional radial motors, have already been integrated into production vehicles like the Koenigsegg Regera and the Ferrari Stradale SF90 hybrid.
