Toyota's Electric Cars to Feature Fake Manual Transmissions for a Unique Experience

The feature is just for fun and won't have any functional purpose, but it could appeal to drivers interested in nostalgia or a less electronic driving experience. The cars will even simulate the consequences of using the clutch poorly, but drivers can choose to disable the feature. Toyota has not yet commented on which future models might contain this feature or whether it would increase the cost for consumers.
