"US Investigates Engine Failures in Over 700K Ford SUVs and Trucks"

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is expanding and upgrading its investigation into 708,000 Ford SUVs and trucks due to engine failures linked to a faulty valve. The investigation covers 2021 and 2022 models of Ford Bronco, Edge, Explorer, F-150, and Lincoln Aviator and Nautilus vehicles. NHTSA received numerous customer complaints and warranty claims related to the vehicles under investigation. Ford has stated that the majority of failures have likely already occurred and is cooperating with NHTSA's investigation.
