"Emergency Landing: Atlas Air Boeing 747-8 Engine Bursts into Flames Over Miami"
TL;DR
An Atlas Air Boeing 747-8 cargo plane made an emergency landing at Miami International Airport after experiencing an engine malfunction shortly after departure. Unverified videos on social media showed flames shooting out of the left wing of the aircraft, and the cause of the incident is being investigated. No injuries were reported, and Boeing, FAA, and General Electric have not commented on the incident. This comes amid a crisis for Boeing following an emergency landing of an Alaska Airlines MAX 9 airliner and the temporary grounding of 171 aircraft for safety checks.
