"Passenger Spots Missing Wing Parts, Forces Cancellation of NYC-Bound Flight"
TL;DR
Virgin Atlantic canceled a New York-bound flight from Manchester after a passenger noticed missing bolt fastener tops on the wing of the Airbus A330 aircraft. The airline conducted additional maintenance checks and found four out of 119 fastener tops were missing, but assured that the safety of customers and crew was not compromised.
