Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger praised Elon Musk for his dedication to solving impossible problems, but said they prefer to take fewer risks and avoid failure. Buffett and Munger credited Musk for scaling Tesla into a major automaker and pioneering reusable-rocket technology at SpaceX, but said his all-consuming lifestyle doesn't appeal to them. Musk welcomed the comments and has previously chided Buffett and Munger for passing on the opportunity to invest in Tesla in 2008.
