Elizabeth Holmes to Report to Prison and Pay Restitution After Legal Challenges Denied.

Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, has been ordered to report to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, to serve her over 11-year sentence for defrauding investors in her blood-testing start-up. The facility is a minimum-security women's prison that houses more than 500 inmates, most of whom are serving time for non-violent offences and white-collar crimes. Inmates are expected to work and participate in extracurricular programmes, and Holmes may have roommates in the dormitory-style living quarters. She will be allotted an hour for each meal and can speak to her family via video calls. Holmes has also been ordered to pay $452m to the victims of her fraud.
