Mail carriers targeted in armed robberies across multiple locations.

A mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint in Milwaukee, with the perpetrator taking property from the carrier. This is the third reported mail carrier armed robbery in Milwaukee this year. The previous two cases involved the theft of arrow keys used to open locked mailboxes and blue collection boxes. The national president of the Postal Police Officers Association advocates for replacing the keys with an electronic interface and sending postal carriers out with security.
