Crypto Market Update: Solana Soars, Bitcoin and Ethereum Rebound, Institutional Investors Accumulate Bitcoin

Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced minimal price movement over the past week, with Bitcoin briefly crossing the $31,000 mark after news of BlackRock refiling its application for a Bitcoin spot ETF. However, Bitcoin's price dropped back under $31,000 and currently sits at around $30,252. Ethereum also saw a slight decrease in value, dropping 2.8% to $1,861. Solana was the standout performer, surging 20% to reach $22.85 despite being delisted by trading app Revolut due to SEC lawsuits against Binance and Coinbase. Singapore and Thailand implemented new regulations banning lending and staking services for retail customers, while the UK's FCA announced that crypto companies promoting cryptocurrencies to UK customers must comply with financial promotion rules by October 2023.
