Gas Prices Continue to Soar Across the US

Gasoline prices in the US have risen for the second consecutive week, up 8.8 cents from last week to $3.57 per gallon, according to GasBuddy. Diesel prices have fallen 1.6 cents to $4.15 per gallon. The rise in gasoline prices is due to increased demand and pressure from oil prices, which have risen over 20% in the last month. Gasoline demand for the week ending April 8 was down 2.8% week-on-week, and 2.9% below the rolling four-week average.
