MLGW CEO apologizes for power outages, thousands still affected

MLGW's CEO apologized to customers experiencing power outages and extreme heat, with some enduring outages for five days. The outages are not solely due to storms but also non-storm related damage. Thousands of customers lost electricity when circuits became overloaded. MLGW has asked customers to raise their thermostats to 78 degrees to reduce energy demand.
