"Residents Rally as Alabama Power Bills Soar: Seeking Relief and Solutions"
TL;DR
Residents in Alabama, including Christina Smith, are shocked by the significant increase in their power bills, with some bills doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling. Alabama Power attributes the surge in electricity usage to the recent cold wave and offers support through programs like Project SHARE, LIHEAP, and ABC Trust Fund. The company encourages customers to visit their website for assistance and reassures that disconnections due to non-payment will not occur through March 15th.
