Massive Fuel Leak: 31K Gallons Lost from Taunton Gas Station

Approximately 31,000 gallons of gasoline leaked from Amaro's gas station in Taunton, Massachusetts, almost a month ago. The leak has been contained, but cleanup efforts are ongoing. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is working with the city and property owners to pump gas out of the affected area. Emergency response personnel have been monitoring nearby properties for gas vapors and have found no impacts on the Taunton River.
