Recall Alert: Frozen Fruit Products at Costco, Trader Joe's Pose Hepatitis A Risk

Frozen fruit mix products sold at Trader Joe's and Costco have been recalled due to an outbreak of Hepatitis A. Scenic Fruit Company of Oregon issued the recall for its Organic Tropical Fruit Blend, a product containing pineapple, bananas, strawberries, and mango. The company says consumers can destroy the product or return it for a refund. Symptoms of Hepatitis A include fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, jaundice, dark urine, and pale stool.
