"USPS Ends Free COVID Test Kit Distribution: Last Day to Order"
TL;DR
Today is the last day to order free COVID-19 tests through the U.S. government program for delivery by USPS, with orders being suspended after March 8, 2024. The CDC has updated its COVID-19 guidance, shortening the isolation period for those who test positive and emphasizing actions to reduce the spread of respiratory viruses. The decision to pause test orders was driven by slowing rates, but tests could be distributed again in the future.
