Amazon Prime offers discounted healthcare with One Medical subscription for $9/month

Amazon is offering discounted memberships to One Medical, the primary care company it acquired, to its Amazon Prime U.S. customers. The discounted membership costs $99 a year or $9 a month for the primary user, with additional family members costing extra. This move appears to compete with Amazon's other health offerings, such as Amazon Clinic, which offers text-based or video visits with doctors. Neil Lindsay, senior vice president of Amazon Health Services, stated that the pricing discrepancy reflects the company's intention to provide a range of care options. Amazon's previous healthcare ventures, including Haven and Amazon Care, have had mixed success.
