Roivant's inhaled PH drug mosliciguat posts Phase 2 win, spurring Phase 3 rollout

Roivant’s $14 million upfront investment and a $294 million Bayer deal for mosliciguat paid off after a Phase 2 PHocus trial in 135 PH‑ILD patients across 20 countries, showing a 56.3% placebo‑adjusted reduction in pulmonary vascular resistance at Week 16, a 35.2‑meter improvement in 6‑minute walk distance, and a 53.2% drop in NT‑proBNP, with lower cough rates (12.1% vs 18.2% placebo). The data support mosliciguat as a potential single‑agent and/ or combination therapy, and Roivant has moved it into Phase 3, aiming to reach about 200,000 PH‑ILD patients in the US and Europe.
